It doesnt matter if someone wants to go to the school library to ban "Harry Potter" as a potential un-Godly influence... or wants to ban Mark Twain's "Tom Sawyer because it uses non-PC references to minorities (which were in common usage at the time written). I consider BOTH attitudes equally benighted and equally harmful. The "government as nanny" concept is, in a nutshell, *bullshit*.
